  • How important is the admission assessment?

The admission assessment is important because scores are based on independent school norms and are a predictor of success in an independent school. However, the assessment is only one piece of the admission review. Equally important are teacher recommendations, report cards, the admission interview, and involvement in school activities. The Admission Committee thoroughly reviews all information in a candidate’s file before making an admission decision.
  • How important are teacher recommendations?

Teacher recommendations speak to a candidate’s progress in the classroom. This information is very important when determining whether a candidate is ready for the classroom environment and academic expectations at Benjamin.
  • How will I know when my application file is complete?

After submitting the required admission documents to their child's current school, parents should check the status of the application either online by logging into Buclinks (Parent Portal) or by calling the Admission Office 561-472-3451.

Candidates whose admission documents are completed by January 15 will be notified about acceptance by or around February 1 as dictated by re-enrollment of current students.
