- The mission of the Benjamin Parents' Association is to enhance communication, understanding, and support among The Benjamin School's administration, faculty, parents and student body.
- The primary goal of the Parents' Association is to provide activities and programs that encourage participation and unity within the school community.
- As a parent or guardian of a Benjamin student, you are automatically a member of the Benjamin Parents' Association and invited to participate.
- The BPA functions through its Operating Board, which represent all school divisions, Worlds of Wonder (PK3) through 12.
Activities Sponsored by the BPA:
Grade Liaisons: The purpose of Grade Liaisons is to foster an open line of communication between the Benjamin parents and the Division Heads.
Hospitality Committee: The Hospitality Committee helps to ensure that Benjamin student and parent functions are warm and welcoming. The Hospitality Committee organizes over 45 annual events, coordinating volunteers and supplies.
M.O.B. (Men of Benjamin): The M.O.B. is a volunteer group committed to providing opportunities for fathers and other male role models to engage with children and develop stronger relationships with students and the Benjamin community.
M.O.B. Daughter Dance
New Family Ambassador: The New Family Ambassador program offers the opportunity for all new families to feel welcomed and part of the Benjamin community. To help foster this sense of community, we have incorporated a "Buc Buddy" program in the Lower School and Student Ambassadors in the Middle and Upper School whereby new students are matched up with existing students within the same grade for help and guidance. The WOW (PK3), Pre-K and K students receive this same opportunity through a welcoming committee. In conjunction with our Admission Office, we host informative and fun gatherings for all new members of our school community to attend.
Sports Liaison: The Sports Liaison meets regularly and works closely with the Athletic Department. The Sports Liaison's primary role is to enhance communication and organization between parents, athletes, coaches and administration.
Volunteer Coordinator: The volunteer coordinator is responsible for orchestrating the volunteer fair, as well as updating and maintaining the accuracy of the volunteer forms and directing all volunteers to the appropriate chairs or organizations.
