Red Ribbon Week is a national drug awareness campaign celebrated each year during the last week of October. In conjunction with this national celebration, our Middle School campus is decorated with red ribbons to support this important campaign. Red Ribbon Week presents the opportunity to reinforce the belief that no use of illegal drugs and no illegal use of legal drugs shall prevail in our schools, neighborhoods, and communities. Alcohol and tobacco products are also considered to be illegal drugs for our students. In addition to classroom discussions, there are a number of exciting events to make the week special, such as 'Eat Dinner With Your Family Night', 'Shade Out Drugs Day' and a presentation by the Palm Beach County Substance Abuse Coalition.
