College Counseling
College counseling is indeed counseling, not placement, and we support the young people in our care as they come to know themselves more fully, in order to seek the best possible “fit” between themselves and the wide range of colleges and universities that are available.
Benjamin's college counselors work hard to help our students find the best college or university for their individual interests and aspirations. At Benjamin, college counseling begins in the 9th grade. Individualized, family-based college counseling starts in earnest in the sophomore year and becomes highly intensive and focused during the junior and senior years. Our counselors, through one-on-one work, make sure that each graduate finds the best next step in his or her journey of lifelong learning.
