Middle School Fine Arts

Students in the Middle School gain a lifelong appreciation for the arts as they learn to create, analyze, reflect and communicate effectively through a variety of visual and performing arts experiences. Classes in dance, drama, music, visual art, band and strings commence in the sixth grade with participation in an exploratory arts wheel.

Seventh and eighth graders select a yearlong study of a preferred arts discipline, with course offerings available in Acting/Musical Theatre, Visual Art, Strings, Middle School Band, Dance, Dance For The Athlete, Film/TV, Journalism Web Design and Introduction to Television Broadcasting. Students extend their talents to the school community and beyond through several grade level performances, art exhibitions, theatre productions, music and dance concerts.
