A lifelong appreciation and enjoyment of the arts is central to visual and performing arts participation for all students in the Upper School. A breadth of classes and extracurricular activities provides the opportunity for students to not only explore the arts, but extend the creative talents for those with the desire to advance their select fine arts interests.
Courses in drawing, visual design, photography, computer graphics, dance, drama, vocal and instrumental music and multimedia are offered in state-of-the art facilities, including Benjamin Hall - a new 849-seat multi-purpose theatre and a video production television studio. An array of art exhibits, concerts, theatre productions and informal functions throughout the school year showcases students and their works at both on and off-campus venues.
Students must earn 1 credit in Fine Arts (Performing or Visual) during their 4 years of high school.
