US Scholars Inducted Into Cum Laude Society During 12th Annual Ceremony

Members of the junior and senior class were inducted into the Cum Laude Society during the school’s 12th annual induction ceremony in Benjamin Hall.

The Benjamin School’s chapter of the society, one of only 400 across the globe, recognizes scholastic achievement and the top scholars in the junior and senior class.

“Scholastic  excellence is at the heart of The Benjamin School mission,” Head of Upper School Fletcher Carr said in opening remarks. “Induction into Cum Laude is the highest academic honor bestowed upon a Benjamin student.”

Carr told this year’s inductees that their accomplishments are significant and their recognition well deserved.

“As Aristotle once famously observed, we are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. Inductees - thank you for modeling and sharing those habits during your time here at The Benjamin School,” Carr said.
