Laptop & Tablet Program Specifications
The Benjamin School's technology staff will be able to provide basic support for all qualifying BYOD technology. All additional costs, required software or extended support will fall to the responsibility of the family. Again, please understand that students will be required to have an acceptable and functioning laptop or tablet in class.
Requirements for BYOD program laptops or tablets:
Microsoft Windows 11
macOS 14 "Sonoma" or higher
Chromebook with Google Chrome OS version 120 or later (no beta or dev channel releases are permitted)

Mobile device requirements:
Please be advised that at this time mobile devices may exclude the use of some software packages currently used at the school.
Screen size of 10.2 inches or larger
iPad 9th generation (2021) or newer, or iPad Pro 5th generation (2021), with iPadOS version 16 or later
(iPad Mini, iPod or iPhone are not acceptable options due to screen size)
All other smartphones, ebook readers, android tablets, or other devices are not acceptable options.

Technology Support Centers
The Benjamin School has Technology Offices on both the Lower/Middle School and Upper School campuses. Students can visit the Technology Office to receive support on any technology related issues. Our knowledgeable staff are available to answer questions and address any concerns you may have. Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am - 3 pm.
