Grade 6
This week we will warm up with running and stretches as a class. We will continue to practice our sit ups in preparation for the Physical Fitness testing in a few weeks. We will continue with outdoor kickball.
During Nutrition block this week we will be discussing the The Food Guide Pyramid, continuing with the fruits and veggies food group, including the benefits, number of servings and examples of how to incorporate more of these foods into our daily diets.
Grades 7 & 8
This week we will warm up with running and stretches as a class. We will continue to practice our sit ups in preparation for the Physical Fitness testing in a few weeks. We will be moving on to our next unit which is badminton.
The 8th grade block classes will work out with Pervis, our strength and conditioning coach. They will be working on speed, agility, and strengthening exercises.
