Upper school students and faculty members kicked-off the holiday season during their 8th annual Holiday Assembly in Benjamin Hall on December 10.
Head of Upper School Fletcher Carr welcomed the audience to the festive annual tradition before surprising the community with his never-before-seen dance moves and singing.
Upper school students and faculty members shared their holiday traditions and memories and the audience enjoyed performances from the Dazzlers Dance Team, the school’s dance technique class, concert band, and student sing-along choir. Upper school teacher Mr. Milce also treated the community to a moving saxophone solo.
Head of School Mr. Dave Faus thanked those who shared their talents and stories with the community in closing remarks.
“I’m always struck by this assembly and I’m struck today by what I saw in vulnerability, and authentic voice, in talent and in trust,” he said. “That’s something to be proud of. As I think about the holiday, I will think about this assembly and you all and how fortunate we are to have one another.”
