Alumna One of 50 Tapped for AP Art Exhibit
Alumna Olivia Wells Funk ‘24 was recently selected to display her artwork as part of the 2024 AP Art and Design Exhibit. Funk was one of only 50 students selected from over 80,000 submitted portfolios to participate in this year’s exhibit.
Funk, who is currently attending Florida State University, will have her piece displayed in mid-February as part of the exhibit. Her work recognizes the original inhabitants of the Florida Peninsula.
“Despite their lack of recognition in society today, I believe we cannot discuss Floridian history without mentioning them first,” Funk wrote of her design process.
