Sophomore Wins 2nd Place at Science Fair
Sophomore Mili Mohanty earned Second Place at the Palm Beach Regional Science and Engineering Fair in the Senior Division - Intelligent Machines, Robotics & Systems Science category for her research on ferroptosis inhibitors on Parkinson’s treatment.
Upper school science teacher Renee Szeliga said the achievement highlights Mohanty’s “hard work, creativity, and dedication to excellence in STEM.”
“Mili's outstanding performance not only reflects her commitment to innovation and discovery but also exemplifies the spirit of excellence we strive for at The Benjamin School. Her success serves as an inspiration to her peers and a testament to the potential of our students to make meaningful contributions to the fields of science and engineering,” Szeliga said.
