Benjineers Heading to Worlds

The Benjineers upper school robotics team is headed to the VEX Worlds Championship for the third year in a row. The team, which includes Ethan Cave, Kate Hilzenrath, John Lacy, Alex Napier, Ollie Olsson White, and Chris Tighe  is ranked number 1 in the region in tournament skills.

All three Benjamin robotics teams qualified for the state championship this year.

“They put an enormous amount of hours into their year-long season and getting this far demonstrated their hardwork and dedication. I am extremely proud of all of them,” said faculty advisor and Innovation Department Chair Debra Perretta.

Head of Upper School Fletcher Carr congratulated the teams, saying he can’t wait for their return to campus when they can share about the win with the upper school community.
