Email Guidelines
Electronic mail or email provides a quick and cost-effective means to communicate and promote the School’s overall mission. When sending email, it is important to consider your audience and decide whether the message you seek to convey might be better communicated in a face-to-face or telephone conversation. Remember that tone and humor (especially sarcasm) may be lost on the reader of an email.
Email Addresses
The Benjamin School’s email address format is firstname.lastname@ thebenjaminschool.org or john.smith@thebenjaminschool.org. This format should be used for email addresses that are listed in electronic communications, such as your email signatures, business cards, etc.
Electronic Signatures
Please follow the format shown below for email signatures. Copy and paste the below example into the signature field in your email settings, then update with your personal information. Please conform to existing line breaks, font (Arial), size (12pt), and styles (bold name/web address, italicized title).
